GTA 6 Launch Trailer: Every Car Spotted (and What They Really Are)
Rockstar dropped the official GTA 6 launch trailer on October 15, and it is wall-to-wall vehicles. Ninety seconds long, captured entirely in-game on PS5, and closing with the date we can finally circle in ink — November 19, 2026 — the trailer has already pulled in close to 50 million views.
Rockstar never names the cars on screen, so we went through the trailer the way we always do: frame by frame, matching every vehicle to the real machine it is based on. Here are the GTA 6 launch trailer cars we can identify — plus the bikes, boats and aircraft that share the road with them.
One honest note before we start: this trailer mostly confirms the metal we have been tracking since Trailer 2 and the August Extended Look, rather than debuting brand-new models. The full confirmed roster lives on our Supercar List page. What follows is what is actually in this trailer.
GTA 6 launch trailer cars at a glance
Short on time? The GTA 6 launch trailer cars identified in this breakdown are: a lime-green Veyron-style hypercar, a yellow Diablo-style supercar, an R33 Skyline-style coupe, a modified Camaro-style muscle car, an open-top Invetero Coquette, a green lowrider, and a Ranger-style pickup — backed by Vice City police cars and NOOSE armoured vehicles.
The supercars
The lime-green hypercar chased by police. The trailer’s biggest car moment: a lime-green, Veyron-style hypercar being hunted through Vice City by a pack of police cars. It is the closest thing the launch trailer has to a hero car, and if Rockstar is putting it in the final trailer’s biggest chase, expect it to matter in the game. A bright green sports car also slides across an intersection at the 0:47 mark as pedestrians scatter — quite possibly the same car, though we are flagging that as unconfirmed until we can compare the shots side by side at launch.
The yellow Diablo-style supercar. In the night street-racing sequence, a yellow supercar clearly modelled on the Lamborghini Diablo runs in a pack of exotics. The Diablo shape has been a GTA staple since the original Infernus, and seeing it headline a street race tells you Rockstar knows exactly which fantasy it is selling.
Sports cars and muscle
The R33 Skyline-style coupe. Early on, an iguana scuttles away from a parked coupe that is unmistakably Nissan Skyline R33 in shape. JDM metal getting this much screen time bodes well for the tuner scene in Leonida.
The modified Camaro-style car. Jason and Lucia lean on a modified, Camaro-style muscle car in one of the trailer’s close two-shots. When the two leads pose with a car, that car tends to become iconic — think of it as this game’s poster vehicle in waiting.
The open-top car (likely the Invetero Coquette). At around 0:26, Jason drives while Lucia rides in an open-top car, and the pair are later seen beside a red car in a nightclub intercut. One trailer breakdown names the convertible as the returning Invetero Coquette — the name is not new to GTA 6 (the Coquette and Coquette D10 were catalogued from earlier footage), so treat this as a probable identification, not a fresh reveal.
Street metal and working vehicles
The green lowrider. The trailer opens on a green lowrider wearing spiderweb paint — most likely an Impala clone in the Vapid/Declasse tradition. Opening-shot honours for a lowrider says a lot about how much car culture is baked into Vice City this time.
The Ford Ranger-style pickup. A character leaps from the bed of a Ranger-style pickup onto the landing gear of an aircraft in the airport sequence. Pickups are workhorses in every GTA, and this one gets an action-movie moment.
Everyday traffic. A green sedan with passengers leaning out of the windows rolls through at 0:18, just before the iguana crosses — a small shot, but it shows how alive Leonida’s traffic looks compared to Los Santos.
Police and tactical vehicles
Vice City’s standard patrol cars appear to be based on the Ford Explorer and Taurus Interceptor, and they get plenty of screen time chasing the green hypercar. The action montage also shows armoured NOOSE tactical vehicles with what look like mounted guns — if those are playable-driveable or just mission props is something we will be testing on day one.
Bikes, boats and aircraft
Cars share the trailer with a dirt bike pulling a jump at 0:48, a motorcycle wheelie down a palm-lined road, a biplane flying low over a crowded beach with someone standing on its top wing holding a pink flare, and at least four helicopter scenes — including one airlifting a chunk of bank vault into a building. On the water there is a hovercraft Jason fights aboard, a jet ski in tow behind a pickup in the Keys, a floatplane at Brian’s Marina, and a boat named in trailer coverage as the Shasa.
What this means for launch day
The GTA 6 launch trailer cars did not include a new named supercar — its one clearly new element was the music (Justice’s “Flower in a Hurricane,” from the 34-track official album). But it confirmed the shape of GTA 6’s car culture: hypercars worth chasing, a real street-racing scene, lowriders, JDM coupes, and police that look ready to fight back.
Between now and November 19 we will keep tracking every confirmed vehicle on the Supercar List, compare the contenders in GTA 6 Fastest Supercars, and break down which machines come with the Ultimate Edition. This list of GTA 6 launch trailer cars will be updated the moment new footage drops. And the moment the game unlocks, the real testing starts: genuine top speeds, real prices, and where to find every supercar in Leonida.
GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S — Standard Edition $79.99, Ultimate Edition $99.99.
